Do I have to open an account in order to buy your books?

No. When in your analogue life you buy at your preferred bookshop physically a book, they don’t oblige you to open an account prior to any purchase. Bitedition offers you this same pleasure of free shopping!
Technically it is possible and we have undertaken everything so that your shopping experience is going on smoothly.
This absence of the annoying identification procedure is part of our decision neither to waste hosting capacities nor energy resources.
For the same reason we do not use navigation gadgets which oblige users to make totally superfluous clicks; or prefabricated components like content management systems (CMS) or design templates / frameworks which contain many unused and therefore useless elements.
Bitedition is tailor-made!

Which payment methods do you accept?

Payment is made on the PayPal secure website. Depending on the country, PayPal accepts the following credit cards, among others: Visa, Master Card, American Express, JCB, Diners Club and cards specific to each country.
You can also ask to have your bank account debited.

Is the payment secure?

Yes. Payments on PayPal are secured by SSL (Secure Socket Layer); you can see this by the fact that the address begins with “https” and that your browser shows the pictogram of a padlock.

Which format do the e-books have?

Bitedition offers only e-books as PDF (Portable Document Format) files. PDF has the advantage to be compatible with every operating system (Macintosh, Windows, Android) and any computer, notebook, tablet as well as smartphone can open it!
Should your device nevertheless encounter problems to open the file, please check that the needed software is loaded onto the device. You need a software like Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can download for free on the Adobe (adobe.com ) website.

How much time do I have to download my purchases?

The links remain active for 24 hours from the moment of your order.

Downloading was interrupted and/or damaged the files. What do I do?

You have 24 hours (from the time of your order) in which you can again try to download your purchases. If the problem persists beyond that period, please contact us by email at the following address: support at bitedition dot net.

Does Bitedition apply Digital Rights Management (DRM)?

What you should do immediately after the download!

Once you have downloaded your files, it’s a good idea to save immediately a copy of it on another medium (CD, DVD, USB key or external hard disk). Your purchases are then totally secure.
